Full Membership is our year-round membership offering. The Full Membership dues & fees for 2023 were $1,550 for couples, and $775 for single members. If married husband & wife must join at the couple membership rate. To be eligible for the single membership rate the individual must be unmarried. Full membership to the YCSIC is our year-round membership. Your position on the YCSIC waiting list indicates your number in line for full membership. The Club currently has a cap of 700 full memberships available. We begin our renewal process in December for the following year, and typically finalize our full membership by mid to late Spring.
There are two ways in which we offer full membership to waiting list applicants;
1. Attrition - If a full member decides not to renew their membership for the upcoming year, their spot becomes available to the next waiting list applicant.
2. Expansion - If the Club decides to expand the total number of full memberships available. Each year prior to the start of our renewal process the Board of Directors determines how the Club handled our existing membership base and determines if expanding the full membership base is possible. (2023 the cap remained 700)
There is no way to accurately predict the length of time to become a full member, since the number of cancellations and potential expansion are unknown each year. However, to manage expectations anyone that applies today we tell them to please anticipate a 6+ year wait for full membership.
The Club also offers an Associate “off-season” Membership, which is available only to those on our waiting list. Currently we have a cap of no more than 125 associate memberships per off-season. Those that apply today would be offered the associate membership starting this September. The associate membership is an optional membership offering, it does not help or hurt the waiting list applicant’s position in line for full membership. If the applicant declines the associate offer, we extend the offer to the next applicant on the list until we reach our cap of 125 associate memberships. Associates can then renew each off-season until reached for full membership. The associate membership timeframe is set as the weekend after Labor Day to weekend before Memorial Day.
If you have submitted a completed Waiting List Application, $250 Deposit and two Letters of Recommendation you will receive an email confirming receipt and successful submission of your application. If you submitted a partial application your position on the waiting list has not yet been secured, and will not move forward for Board approval until all listed above have been received.
Once a completed application has been submitted the Board of Directors will review your application at our next regularly scheduled Board meeting. Upon Board approval your name will be added to the waiting list and you can find your position on the current waiting list link below. Your position on the waiting list represents your number in line for Full Membership, there is not a separate waiting list for Associate Members. Please remember that your position on the waiting list will only change once per year, when Full Membership renewal process has been completed in early Spring.
Below is our Membership Waiting List Packet, which includes a Letter from our Membership Chair, Waiting List Application, Guidelines for Letters of Recommendation, Explanation of Membership Dues & Fees and our House Rules. In order to secure a position on the waiting list the application, $250 deposit and two letters of recommendation from existing members must be submitted. These sponsoring members must be two separate memberships, a husband and wife on the same membership does not meet this requirement. Please be aware that for two individuals to apply for membership together they must be married or if unmarried share the same residence. If two individuals are unmarried and not sharing the same residence they must apply separately.
Once the completed Waiting List Application, $250 deposit and two letters of recommendation have been submitted the Board of Directors will review your application at the next monthly board meeting. Upon approval you will be notified of your position on the waiting list. Your position on the waiting list will only change once per year, when we complete our full membership renewal process late Spring. *It is important for you to notify us of any changes in contact information while you are on our waiting list.

You will be notified once your application is received and when your application will be reviewed by the Board of Directors.
