Greetings from chilly Sea Isle City,

We know this is not the time of year when the YCSIC is at the top of your mind, but is an important time for
planning and preparing for the coming season and the future. The Board has recognized that the members want a
greater input in the direction and strategic planning of the Club. We are asking your help in a new way.

A comprehensive
survey has been prepared which solicits your opinion on future direction as well as last year’s
performance. The survey is not just about the potential for a "new building"; rather it is an attempt to take the
pulse of membership over a wide range of issues.

The
survey
contains several different types of questions and possible answers. On some questions you will select
only one answer. Other questions will ask you to rank or choose from a number of possible responses. There are also
numerous opportunities to write in your specific comments. Once the surveys are returned and tabulated, you will
receive a summary of the results.

We are requesting personal information in the
survey.
This data is being used to track survey distribution and
response. Personal data will be removed when the surveys are summarized and analyzed. Your specific responses
will be kept in confidence.

Each voting member can complete a
survey. If you have a
couple membership you each can vote and fill in the survey.
So if only one email address is registered to a membership couple, please access the
survey twice ensuring the
separate names are clearly entered. If you have any questions call Jim Collins at the Club - 609 263 7282.
As an added incentive to complete and return the
survey,
each person who does so will be entered in a random drawing for
one of ten $25.00 food and beverage credits.

This is your opportunity to share your thoughts and ideas with the Board. It is important that we all have a say in
the direction of our Club and it is vital that the Board understand your feelings and concerns. The Club is a membership
organization and each member has a voice. Your opinions matters. Please take a few minutes to help us plan the future
of the Yacht Club of Sea Isle City.

Best regards,

Alec Vint
