Born and raised in southern New Jersey, Jim has grown up in the hospitality industry. His family owned and operated a restaurant and motel in Cape May County.
After attending Stockton College for one year, he then transferred to York College of Pa. In 2001, he graduated
from York with a degree in business management and a minor in human resources. Though his main interest was always the hospitality industry,
Jim pursued other interests before joining the Yacht Club of Sea Isle City in 2005 as head bartender/bar manager. As his management skills and
familiarity with the club grew, so did his responsibilities. He became an obvious choice to oversee all club management when the General Manager
position became available in 2007. During the 2012/13 season, Jim helped manage the transition from the previous club to a brand new building.
During his tenure, membership was increased and revenue generating special events doubled.
Jim was a board member of the Sea Isle City Chamber & Revitalization organization from 2010 - 2014 assisting the organization with sponsorship and
communications. In 2015, Jim became the President of the Kiwanis of Cape May Court House. He currently resides in Cape May Court House, NJ.
