HOUSE RULES
Members are to act in accordance with the Yacht Club of Sea Isle City’s objective of promoting a friendly and family-oriented atmosphere.
YCSIC premises including grounds, docks, and parking areas are for the exclusive use of YCSIC Members, their duly recognized guests, and those members of other recognized Yacht Clubs. Parking is restricted to use by YCSIC members with a recognized parking tag while they are on the club’s premises. We encourage guests to carpool with the member they are accompanying to the club; therefore allowing more parking spaces for YCSIC members.
Reservations are REQUIRED for dining room and outside deck seating. No reservations will be taken for the bar area, where food is served on a first come basis. The bar shall be opened as posted on the bulletin board. Alcoholic beverages may only be sold and served to approved YCSIC members and their guests for immediate consumption on the premises. No package goods may be sold and removed from the grounds. For purpose of purchasing alcoholic beverages, a club member must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age and must be admitted to membership for at least three (3) days.
Food and Beverage (F&B) may only be used for the season of membership. Food and Beverage may not be transferred to or used by another member. Any prepaid Food and Beverage not spent before December 31st is forfeited.
Our liquor license requires all guests to be SIGNED IN upon entering the clubhouse. No person may be allowed as a guest after visiting YCSIC 4 times. YCSIC members MUST be present at all times their guests are on the premises and are fully responsible for the conduct of their guests. Members will face consequences for unruly or unaccompanied guests.
Children 14 and under must be supervised by a parent or guardian at all times while on YCSIC premises, including shuffleboard. No child may be on the docks unsupervised for any purpose. Any child participating in activities that fails to follow the directives of an authorized program coordinator or instructor will not be permitted to participate in the future. Children are not permitted to be in the bar area after 9 PM. Under New Jersey law children are not permitted to sit at the bar at any time.
Smoking is prohibited inside the club and at least one deck. Please check the signs for designated smoking areas. Please discard cigarettes in receptacles.
Any misconduct by an YCSIC member or guest could result in immediate removal from the club and possible suspension or termination of Club membership without refund of any membership fees or food and beverage advances. Complaints of any nature must be directed to the Club Manager, Flag Officer or Board Member.
